Scholarship Fund Named for Bollingers

Rob and Lisa (Beaudoin) Bollinger Endowment

During a decades-long association with the University of North Dakota, Rob Bollinger, ’80, made a lasting impact as a coach, athletics administrator and fundraiser.

From his graduate assistant coaching days in the mid-‘70s to a decade as offensive coordinator, Rob found great success working with student-athletics on the finer points of the game and the importance of being leaders in the classroom and the community.
Following his coaching days, Rob was instrumental in founding what was then known as the Fighting Sioux Club (now North Dakota Champions Club), the primary fundraising organization for UND Athletics.

He also drove the effort to develop alumni Letterwinner committees in each sport to help former student-athletes stay connected with and support UND Athletics.

Rob also worked as a fundraiser for the UND Foundation and as an Associate Athletics Director at UND before taking his current position as Executive Director of University Advancement at Bemidji State University.

In order to provide lasting support to the football program at UND, family, friends and teammates have created a scholarship endowment to honor Rob and his wife, Lisa (Beaudoin), ’79, and to celebrate their accomplishments and their years of dedication to UND.

The scholarship or scholarships will support UND football student-athletes.
